We find that appellant Shailesh Shukla, Rammilan @ Ravi, Anil Kumar and Aakash Singh, all of them filed Cr.A.No.1044/2018. Later on, Anil Kumar and Rammilan filed two separate appeals registered as Cr.A. Nos.1113/2018 and 1283/2018.

Learned counsel appearing in the subsequent appeals submits that the appeals have been filed upon the instructions given by the relatives of Anil Kumar and Rammilan and none of them informed him regarding filing of appeal by these persons jointly along with Shailesh Shukla and Akash Singh in Cr.A.No.1044/2018.

In view of aforesaid disclosure, it is clear that Anil Kumar and Rammilan have already filed appeal jointly along with two other accused Shailesh Shukla and Akash Singh in Cr.A.No.1044/2018. Therefore, the other two appeals are closed as there cannot be more than one appeal by the same accused against the same judgment of conviction and order of sentence.

Cr.A.No.1113/2018 and 1283/2018 are accordingly

closed.

Appeal of Shailesh Shukla, Rammilan, Anil Kumar and Akash Singh shall be heard only in Cr.A.No.1044/2018. Cr.A.No.1044/2018 be listed for consideration next week.
