In view of objection taken by the State with regard to the maintainability of the petition on the ground of exhaustion of alternative remedy of revision under Regulation No.270 of sub-Rule 2 of Chhattisgarh Police Regulation, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw this petition with liberty to prefer revision. He submits that the delay in filing revision may be directed to be condoned. It is observed that if the petitioner prefers revision, the Revisional

Authority shall examine the merits of the revision by due application of mind to the ground taken for condonation of delay in filing revision. With the liberty as prayed for, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
