Shri Majid Ali, Dy. Govt. Advocate Hon'ble Shri Justice P. Sam Koshy Order On Board 05.09.2018 The challenge in the present writ petition is the show cause notice issued by the respondents for terminating the services of the petitioner without enquiry.

Counsel for the respondents, on instruction, states that the case of the petitioner is under process to be taken for a final decision so far as the show cause notice is concerned. He submits that many of the cases of

similarly situated persons of other districts have already been disposed of in the light of the orders of the respondents concluding the show cause proceeding by issuing warning to the respective petitioners. According to the State counsel, the case of the present petitioner is also under active consideration and in all likelihood a decision would be passed at the earliest.

Without entering into the merits of the case, the present writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of giving protection to the petitioner so far as further proceedings on the show cause notice is concerned till a final decision is taken by the respondents in the light of the directions given by the Director General of Police dated 29.08.2018. Needless to mention that the interim relief earlier granted by this court shall remain in operation till a final decision is taken by the respondents.
