1. Aggrieved by the impugned order dated 28.07.2021, the present writ petition has been filed. Vide the impugned order, the place of posting of the petitioner has been shifted from Forest Range Katra from the post of Range Assistant and has been posted as Officers on Special Duty under Baloda Forest Division.

2. The contention of the petitioner is that he has got just around a little over one year of service left for his superannuation and at this fag end of his service career shifting of petitioner from one place to another putting the petitioner to inconvenience. Second ground is that the petitioner has been shifted from forest range Katra and he is being replaced by a Forest Guard who otherwise would not be eligible to hold and discharge the duties of

-2Range Assistant, Forest Division Katra. Third ground of the petitioner is that the petitioner has been shifted only to accommodate the respondent No.3 and that too has been issued by the Divisional Forest Officer.

3. According to counsel for the petitioner even till date the petitioner is discharging his duties as Range Assistant Katra and the impugned order till date has not been acted upon.

4. Be that as it may, considering the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner make an appropriate representation before the respondents No.3 & 4 within a period of seven days and the respondents No.3&4 in turn shall consider and decide the representation strictly in accordance with the policy governing the field within a period of 30 days from the date of representation. Purely as an interim measure, till the representation of the petitioner is decided, let status quo as it exist today so far as posting part is concerned, be maintained by the parties.
