1. Heard.
2. This is an application filed under Section 439 of the Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail to the applicant, who has been arrested in connection with Crime No.292/2020, registered at Police Station Khadgawa, District- Koriya C.G. for the offence punishable under Section 306 of the I.P.C.
3. Deceased Neetu Das was married to Rahul in the year 2014 and had a son from the wedlock. Despite she being a married lady, the applicant used to call her and persuade her
MCRC No. 8421 of 2020 to talk to him which she was constantly refusing. The applicant threatened her that he has her photographs which would be circulated amongst her family members and later on, he put her photograph as the profile picture on his mobile phone. Seeing this deceased's husband and brother requested the applicant not to indulge in such activities but the applicant did not mend his ways and continued inflicting mental harassment to the deceased.
4. Learned State counsel would oppose the prayer for grant of bail.
5. Having seen the material available in the case diary, I am not inclined to release the applicant on bail.
6. Accordingly, the bail application is rejected. However, liberty is reserved in the favour of applicant to revive the prayer after examination of brother Naman and husband Rahul of the deceased.
