1. The only prayer in this petition is that the license of the petitioner firm has been De-registered in terms of Clause 7.1 of the Centralised Procedures of the Government of Chhattisgarh for Suspension, Demotion, Nonrenewal & De-registration of Contractors/Firms, 2014.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that against such Deregistration, the petitioner has preferred an appeal and as per the guidelines of 6.5, the appeal if so filed against De-registration as far as practical it shall be decided within 30 days. However, the petitioner though has filed the appeal on 28.08.2020, it has not been decided till date.
3. Without going into the merits of this case, considering the guideline which has been placed on record, specially clause 6.5. of the Centralised
-2Procedures of the Government of Chhattisgarh for Suspension, Demotion, Non-renewal & De-registration of Contractors/Firms, 2014, the appellate authority shall take all effort to decide the case within a further period of 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It goes without saying that the petitioner shall also be given an opportunity of hearing before such orders have passed.
4. With the aforesaid observation, the petition stands disposed off. Sd/- (Goutam Bhaduri) Judge Aks
