1. The limited relief that the petitioner has sought for in the present writ petition is for appropriate direction to the respondents to decide the representation by the respondent so far as non granting of promotion to the petitioner from Assistant Grade-III to Assistant Grade-II, particularly when many of the juniors of the petitioner have already been promoted long back in the Department.

2. Let petitioner make a fresh representation in addition to any representation that he has made in the past and respondent shall consider and decide the representation in accordance with rules governing the field at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt representation to be made by the petitioner.
