The limited relief sought for by the petitioner in this petition is for an appropriate direction to the respondents to consider his claim for transferring him at his home district since the petitioner is to retire in a short period of about four months time.

Given the limited grievance that the petitioner has, let the respondent No.1 take an appropriate decision on the request so made by the petitioner at the earliest preferably within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It is expected that the respondents shall consider the case of the petitioner sympathetically in terms of the transfer policy of the State and also considering the fact that the petitioner is to retire in December, 2019 itself.
