This writ petition has been filed at the instance of the victim who alleges that the accused/ a quake administered medicines which were harmful to the health of the petitioner. On petitioner's report, case was registered, charge sheet was filed but the trial has not been concluded.

The grievance of the victim appears to be that the trial has remained unconcluded for the last five years. True, it is that the trial has not concluded. The trial Court shall do well to conclude the trial as early as possible. This however, shall not mean that any priority over older cases would be given.
