This petition has been filed by the petitioner with the grievance that despite order passed by this Court earlier on 16.07.2015, the Chief Medical and Health Officer, Mungeli has declined to grant admission requiring the petitioner to get spelling of her name corrected in the mark-sheet.

This Court issued a clear direction to the Chief Medical and Health Officer, Mungeli to examine the records and take a decision in the matter. The document which has been placed on record clearly show that in the name of petitioner, the only difference is of spelling. The respondent/Chief Medical and Health Officer, Mungeli had directed the petitioner to get spelling of her name in the mark-sheet corrected from the Board. It is the case of the petitioner that when the petitioner approached the Board, the Board is not prepared to make any correction, presumably on the ground that the mark-sheet was issued more than 3 years

before.

Be that as it may, the document which has been placed on record unmistakably indicates the identity of the petitioner and the name of the father. The difference is only of the spelling of the hindi word ":[ke.kh" . Therefore, whether 'O' or 'A' is mentioned it does not make any material difference. In these circumstances, the respondent/Chief Medical and Health Officer, Mungeli directed to allow the petitioner to participate in the course of Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery (ANM course) on provisional basis. The Board shall issue corrected mark-sheet on filing of Affidavit by the petitioner before the Board. 4.

After getting corrected mark-sheet issued in her favour, the petitioner shall submit the same before the Chief Medical and Health Officer, Mungeli, who shall thereafter confirm petitioner's admission to the course of ANM.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed off.
