The petitioner has filed this petition seeking to restrain respondent authority from harassing petitioner and his wife.

It is submitted that on the allegation that the son of the petitioner has eloped with a girl, the police is investigating into the matter and time and again, the petitioner and his wife are being called in the police station in connection with the said investigation and they are being threatened and harassed. 3.
Learned counsel for the State submits that the allegation of the petitioner shall be duly looked into by the Superintendent of Police. 4.
Taking into consideration the aforesaid submission, the petition is disposed off. The Superintendent of Police shall examine the complaint of the petitioner and
then, take appropriate steps if it is needed in the matter. A copy of this order be submitted to the Superintendent of Police.
