1. Heard on admission.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is to the inaction on the part of the Respondent's Authority namely, SECL, in not taking the decision on his representation (Annexure P-2).

From perusal of the record, it appears that the petitioner's land bearing Khasra No. 277/2, 282/4, 282/8, 282/16, 282/24, 2828/29 admeasuring area 0.42, 0.19, 0.56, 0.73, 0.17, 1.21 acres respectively situated at Village Porda Tahsil-Gharghoda District-Raigarh was acquired under the provisions of Coal Bearing Areas (Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957 and till date no employment has been provided to the family

member of him as per Rehabilitation policy, despite the aforesaid representation being made.

4. In view of above, the Court feels that no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the petition pending as it can be disposed of at admission stage itself. Accordingly, this petition is disposed of by directing the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the concerned Respondent's Authority namely, S.E.C.L. within a period of 15 days from today and in the event of filing the same, the concerned Authorities of S.E.C.L. shall decide the same as soon as possible preferably within a period of 3 months from the receipt of the said representation.

5. It is made clear that while disposing of this petition, this Court has not expressed any opinion on merits of the case and the concerned authorities of S.E.C.L. shall pass an appropriate order in accordance with law.
