1. The limited grievance raised by the petitioner in the instant writ petition is for a direction to the respondents to consider the services rendered by the petitioner under the Education Department as an Assistant Teacher for the period between 15.09.1977 to 08.03.1989 and then he had joined the Labour Department and in due course of time he was also promoted as a Labour Officer on which post he retired w.e.f. 31.05.2019.

2. Counsel for the petitioner submits that before joining the Labour Department he had duly applied for no objection from his earlier employer that was also the State Government and therefore the services rendered under the Education Department as an Assistant

Teacher should also be taken as qualifying service for grant of pensionary benefits.

3. The petitioner submits that in this regard he had already made a representation initially before the Labour Commissioner, State of MP and after bifurcation of the State of MP he had made a representation to the respondent no.1 on 05.09.2018 and subsequently, a reminder was also made by the petitioner which is also pending for consideration.

4. Considering the limited grievance raised by the petitioner, this Court is of the opinion that let the respondents take a decision on the representation made by the petitioner at the earliest and pass a speaking order as early as possible preferably within a period of 90 days from today.
