The applicant has preferred this application for grant of bail as he is arrested in connection with Crime No.19/2016 registered in Police Station Bagnadi, District Rajnandgaon (C.G.) for offence punishable under sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 34 of Indian Penal Code. 2.
As per the prosecution case, Uderam Patel has lodged a report that one Naresh Kumar on a forged power of attorney sold the land to Sukhvinder Singh situated at village Kaneri and the applicant was patwari who provided all the support for correction of the document. 3.
Learned counsel for the applicant submits that other co-accused namely Harjinder Singh Bhatiya, Naresh Kumar and Goutam Sakhre have been enlarged on bail vide M.Cr.C.Nos.6302/2016, 7164/2016 and 8/2017. He submits that no further investigation would be required and applicant already stands retired and the evidence is documentary in nature, therefore the applicant may be released on bail. 4.
Learned State counsel do not dispute the fact that other co-accused have been enlarged on bail.

Considering the fact that other co-accused have been enlarged on bail, applicant is in jail since 29/07/2019 and he is aged about 66 years and the evidence appears to be documentary in nature, therefore this court is inclined to release the applicant on bail. 6.
Accordingly, the bail application is allowed and it is directed that the applicant shall be released on his furnishing personal bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- with one surety in the like sum to the satisfaction of concerned trial court for his regular appearance before it as and when directed.
