petitioner pointed out that number of similarly situated employees have been considered and regularised by the respondents and only because petitioners' case has remained pending before this Court, they have not been considered and regularised. He submits that at this stage, this case may be disposed off with a direction to the respondents to regularise the petitioners keeping in view policy dated 05/03/2008.

State counsel assures that if the case of the petitioners has not been considered, the same shall be considered and appropriate decision shall be taken on petitioners' claim.

In view of above, I am not inclined to keep the matter pending. This petition is accordingly disposed off with a direction to the respondents to examine the case of the petitioners in accordance with the Government's policy dated 05/03/2008 and the decision of the Supreme Court in the case of Secretary, State of Karnataka and others Vs. Uma Devi (3) and others, 2006 (4) SCC 1 and take decision within an outer limit of four months.
