1. The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is the inaction on the part of the respondents No.3 to 5 in not deciding the claim application of the petitioner so far as dependent employment is concerned.

2. According to the counsel for the petitioner, the father of the petitioner was working under the respondents No.3 to 5 and he died in harness on 23.04.2016. Immediately thereafter the petitioner has moved an application for grant of dependent employment on 20.09.2016 and reminder was also issued on 04.10.2016 and again fresh representation has been made on 20.08.2020, however till date no decision has been taken by the respondents in this regard.

Given the fact that the application of the petitioner is still pending consideration before the authorities concerned, the writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of directing the respondents No.3 to 5 to immediately take necessary steps and decide the claim application of the petitioner in accordance with rules and regulations governing the field of dependent employment, at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
