By this petition, the petitioner has challenged impugned order dated 19.10.2020 passed by Collector, Raigarh whereby the vehicle owned by the petitioner bearing registration No. CG 13 W 6285 has been ordered to be confiscated.

After arguing at length, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that order of the Collector, Raigarh confiscating the vehicle in question is appealable under Section 47B of the Chhattisgarh Excise Act, 1915, therefore, the present petition may be disposed of with liberty in favour of the petitioner to file an appeal before the appellate authority, i.e. the Commissioner.

In the event of filing of appeal before the Commissioner/Appellate Authority, within 30 days from today, the Commissioner will consider

and dispose of the appeal expeditiously in accordance with law. 4.

With aforesaid observation, the present petition stands disposed of.
