1. The relief sought for by the petitioner is for an appropriate direction to the respondent to consider the grant of benefit of 3rd time pay scale on completion of 30 years of continuous service.

2. Counsel for the petitioner submits that his initial appointment in the department was in the year 1984. He fulfills the conditions as has been stated in the circular dated 08.08.2018 (Annexure P-2) issued by the Finance Department of the Chhattisgarh Government.

3. Given the said submission by the petitioner subject to the verification of the fact from the service record of the petitioner, the present writ petition stands disposed off with direction to respondent No. 2 & 3 to

consider the claim of the petitioner so far as granting of benefit of 3rd time pay scale on completion of 30 years of service is concerned.

4. Let respondent No. 2 & 3 take an appropriate decision within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It shall be the responsibility of the petitioner to apprise respondent No. 2 & 3 so far as the order passed by this Court is concerned. Respondent authorities are expected to take an appropriate decision after due scrutiny of service record of the petitioner and also the eligibility criteria as has been reflected in the circular dated 08.08.2018.
