1. Challenge in the present writ petition is to the order of transfer dated 17.10.2020 (Annexure P/2) posting the petitioner from Police Station, Pali to Police Station, Katghora.

2. The solitary ground of challenge is that there is only around six months time left for the petitioner to superannuate from service and at this juncture shifting of the place of posting may cause great inconvenience to the petitioner particularly during this Pandemic situation.

3. Considering the fact that the impugned order is only an order of change of posting from Pali to Katghora, the distance of which is only

about 40-45 Kms, this Court finds it difficult to entertain the writ petition, however, the right of the petitioner would always be there for approaching the respondents by making a suitable representation to the respondents No. 2 & 3 for ventilating his grievance.

4. Subject to the petitioner making a representation to the Respondent 2 & 3, the authorities may consider the representation on its own merits, particularly taking note of the short duration of service left for the petitioner to retire.
