Grievance of the petitioner is to the inaction on the part of the respondent authorities in not taking decision on his representation/application dated 03-12-2019 (Annexure P-1).

According to the petitioner, his father namely Sarjoo Singh Sidar was performing his duties as Principal in the department of respondent No.1, however, he died during the course of his service on 31-10-2019. On account of sad demise of his father, an application has been made by the petitioner on

03-12-2019 (Annexure P-1) seeking for his compassionate appointment, however, the same has not been decided till date. He further prays for issuance of direction to the respondent authorities to consider and decide his representation made on 03-12-2019.

In view of above, this Court feels that no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the petition pending as the petition can be disposed of at this stage itself.

Accordingly, this petition is finally disposed of by directing the respondent authorities to take appropriate decision on the said representation/application made by the petitioner on 03-12-2019 (Annexure P-1) within a period of three months from the date of communication/receipt of the order of this Court. 5.

It is made clear that while disposing of this writ petition, this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the concerned respondent authorities would decide the same in accordance with law. SD/- (Sanjay S. Agrawal) Judge Tumane
