The applicant has preferred this bail application as he has been arrested in connection with Crime No.30/2017, registered at Police Station Davendra Nagar, District Raipur (C.G.) for offence punishable under Section 376 IPC.

As per the written complaint lodged by the prosecutrix, aged about 23 years, the applicant was sexually exploiting her for last 5 years on promise to marry, however, on 08.04.2017, the applicant refused to marry her.

Considering the fact that the prosecutrix appears to be more than 18 years of age and there is considerable delay in lodging the FIR, this Court is inclined to release the applicant on bail.

Accordingly, the application is allowed and the applicant is directed to be released on bail on his executing a personal bond in sum of Rs.25,000/- with one surety in the like sum to the satisfaction of the trial Court. The applicant is directed to appear before the trial Court on each and every date given by the said Court.
