This petition has been filed against impugned order dated 16.9.2020 passed by District Magistrate, Balrampur Ramanujganj, by which application of the petitioner for grant of parole has been rejected. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the application for grant of parole by the petitioner was rejected on the ground of mere apprehension that the petitioner may abscond if released on bail. 3.

Learned counsel for the State at the outset submits that the order

dated 16.9.2020 passed District Magistrate, Balrampur Ramanujganj may be quashed and he may be given further opportunity to consider and dispose of the application of the petitioner for grant of parole afresh in accordance with law.

Statement of learned counsel for the State is placed on record. 5.

In view of his submission, the order dated 16.9.2020 is hereby quashed and the District Magistrate, Balrampur Ramanujganj is directed to consider the case of the petitioner afresh and pass a reasoned order within 10 days from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order, in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations/ directions, the writ petition stands disposed off.
