1. The present petition is for quashing the proceeding of Crime No.208 of 2018 which emanated from the FIR dated 21.05.2018.

2. Counsel for the petitioner submits that because of certain misunderstanding a false report was made and no offence is made out which would be evident from the documents filed along-with application for compromise wherein the parents of the victim have stated that due to misunderstanding, the report has been made vide Ex.P-2.

3. Perused the case diary. The charge sheet has been filed. The statement of the victim, aged about 7 years is annexed to the charge sheet.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case

especially the statement of victim which is attached to the charge sheet, at this stage, I am not inclined to compound the offence on the basis of compromise entered by the parents of the victim.
