1. Heard.

2. The limited grievance that the petitioner has in the present writ petition, is the non-granting of proper grade pay to the petitioner, i.e., Rs.1900/-instead of Rs.1800/-, which the petitioner is presently given. The petitioner herein is working on the post of dresser under the respondents No. 2 & 3 and is drawing the grade pay of Rs.1800/-.

3. According to the counsel for the petitioner, their counterparts in the State of

Madhya Pradesh and also their counterparts in the department ofHealth and Family Welfare are getting the grade pay of Rs.1900/-. Therefore,on the point of parity, the petitioner is entitled for an enhanced grade pay of Rs.1900/- instead of Rs.1800/-.

4. According to the counsel for the petitioner, despite filing of representations made by the petitioner's association, the respondent authorities have not decided the same till date.

5. The State counsel appearing for the respondents submits that sincethe representation is pending consideration, let the same be decided on its own merits in accordance with the rules and regulations governing the service conditions of the petitioner at the earliest.

Given the submission by the counsel for the parties, the present writ petition at this juncture is disposed of directing the respondents to take an appropriate decision on the representation of the petitioner's association for enhancement of grade pay from Rs.1800/- to Rs.1900/- in accordance with the service rules governing the field at the earliest preferably within a period of three months from the date, the petitioner furnishes the copy of this order to the respondents. The petitioner is also at liberty to file a fresh representation to the respondents supported with all relevant documents along with the copy of this order.
