1. The matter has been taken up on an order passed by this Court on 27.01.2021. On the previous date, when the matter was taken up, at the instance of the Government Counsel of not receiving proper response from the respondents, this Court had ordered for the

Principal Secretary of the General Administration Department, Govt. of Chhattisgarh to remain present before this Court.

2. Mr. D.D. Singh, Secretary, General Administration Department, Govt. of Chhattisgarh has appeared before this Court today and makes a statement that the said Department as on date does not have a Principal Secretary and he is heading the Department. He tendered apology for not promptly responding to the government counsel on notice from the office of the Advocate General and he further submits that it was because of some confusion at the Public Service Commission level as also with the Home Department, that proper response could not be timely given to this Court.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up Mr. Vivek Ranjan Tiwari, Addl. A.G. produced an order dated 12.02.2021, which is an order of appointment issued in favour of the petitioner. The copy of order of appointment has been issued to the learned counsel for the petitioner in the Court.

Given the fact that the respondents have now issued an order of appointment in favour of the petitioner, the whole grievance of the petitioner itself stands redressed and there is no point of pursueing with the writ petition any further. He accordingly prays for disposal of the writ petition at this juncture.

5. Given the said order of appointment dated 12.02.2021 i.e. the order of appointment issued in favour of the petitioner, the writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of. However, in case of any grievance that the petitioner may still have, the appropriate course would be by approaching the authorities concerned for ventilating his grievance,

so far as any clerical error is concerned and in case if the grievance is still not redressed, the petitioner would be at liberty to approach the Court by way of a fresh writ petition.

The writ petition accordingly stands disposed of. The appearance of the Secretary, GAD also stands dispensed with. Sd/- (P. Sam Koshy) Judge Ved
