Hon'ble Shri Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava Order On Board 29/08/2016 The petitioner has set out the grievance through this petition that the representation made by the petitioner for expungement of remarks filed on 17/11/2015 has not been decided till date. Relying upon the Government circular dated 14/02/1969, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the representation should be decided expeditiously. 2.
The representation made for expungement of remarks or for improvement of remarks should be decided as early as possible so that the employee may not suffer adverse decision at the time when his case comes for consideration. In the petition, it has been stated that the Public Service Commission has initiated proceedings for consideration of eligible officers for promotion to the next higher post of Additional Director. Therefore, in these circumstances, it would only be
fair to direct the respondents that the representation of the petitioner be decided within a period of 60 days from today.
