1. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been working on the post of Peon having been appointed on compassionate ground for last more than 12 years and he has all the requisite eligibility criteria for being promoted to Class-III Cadre as an Assistant Grade-III.

2. The contention further of the petitioner is that he is senior most person in the department for being promoted from Class-IV to Class-III and therefore prays that the writ petition may be disposed of as now permitting the petitioner to represent before the respondents No.2 to 6 ventilating his grievances.

-23. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the writ petition as of now stands disposed of permitting the petitioner to represent before the respondents No.2 to 6 and on such representation being made, the authorities may consider the same on its own merits at the earliest.
