Though the petitioner has filed this petition to assail the correctness and validity of the order passed by the appellate authority in the appeal against the order of penalty, learned counsel for the respondent submits that in view of Rule 29 of the Central Reserve Police Force Rules, 1955 (for short, 'the Rules, 1955'), the petitioner has remedy to file revision against the order passed by the appellate authority.

This legal position has not been disputed by counsel for the respondent.

In view of aforesaid submission, without commenting on merit, the petition is dismissed with liberty to file statutory revision under Rule 29 of the Rules, 1955 for decisions in accordance with law as early as possible.
