Claim of the Petitioner in the present Writ Petition seems to be the nonreleasing of the entire dues payable to the Petitioner under the GPF account. 2.

Learned Counsel for Petitioner submits that the husband of the Petitioner was an employee under the Respondents who died on 1.4.2019 while in service. According to learned Counsel for Petitioner, the GPF passbook of the husband of the Petitioner reflects a credit balance of Rs.9,48,563/-, however, the Petitioner has been paid only an amount of Rs.5,51,090/- and thus there is a less payment of Rs.3,97,473/- still to be paid to the Petitioner by the Respondents. 3.

Learned Counsel for the State as also the learned Counsel appearing for the office of Accountant General submit that it is a matter which needs to be verified by tallying the previous entries of the GPF account of the husband of the Petitioner.

Given the said facts, considering the nature of issue which would require a verification of the GPF account of the Petitioner's husband which was maintained both in the office of the Accountant General as also in the office of the employerState, the present Writ Petition at this juncture is disposed of directing the Respondents No. 3 to 6 to immediately get the GPF account of the Petitioner's husband duly verified and if required the Petitioner also may be called upon so far as the previous GPF passbook that the Petitioner has in respect of her husband to be physically verified with the various entries made in the office of the Account General as also in the office of the employer-State and an appropriate decision be taken within a period of ninety days and if any amount is payable to the Petitioner the same shall be released to her forthwith. 5.

Writ Petition accordingly stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction/observation.
