The petitioner has filed this petition challenging the order of dismissal from service in a departmental inquiry.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that even under the guidelines, there is period of 45 days prescribed for decision of appeal, but the appeal of the petitioner has remained pending without decision.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that appeal of the petitioner shall be decided as early as possible preferably within a period of two months. 4.

Considering the aforesaid submission, this petition is disposed off with a

direction to the respondents to consider and decide petitioner's appeal on its own merit in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
