---- Respondent For Appellant : Smt. Renu Kochar, Advocate For Respondent : Shri V.G.Tamaskar, Advocate Hon'ble Shri Justice Pritinker Diwaker Hon'ble Shri Justice Rajendra Chandra Singh Samant Order On Board 10/11/2016 Heard on admission.

Challenge in the present appeal is to the order dated 12.08.2016 passed by Principal Judge, Family Court, Durg in Civil Suit No. 234/2016 awarding maintenance to the tune of Rs. 12,000/- per month inf avour of the respondent.

Counsel for the applicant submits that the respondent is working as Assistant Professor and is drawing more than Rs. 25,000/- per month. On the other hand opposing the appeal it has been argued by Shri

Tamaskar that the non-applicant was given temporary appointment and presently she is not working. He further submits that even otherwise the salary of the appellant is about Rs. 1,00,000/- per month and the amount awarded is very meager.

We have heard counsel for the parties and perused the record. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case in particular the status of the appellant and that of respondent we are not inclined to entertain the present appeal. The same is accordingly dismissed at the motion stage itself.

The Family Court is directed to decide the main case as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of eight months from the next date of hearing.
