The limited grievance that the Petitioner has in the present Writ Petition is the non-releasing of his GPF amount on his retirement which took place almost five years back on 30.6.2016.

Learned Counsel for Petitioner submits that on his superannuation the Petitioner has received all other retiral dues but for the GPF amount and for which all necessary formalities along with No Dues Certificate have also been forwarded to the office of the Account General, yet he has not received his provident fund dues.

Given the factual matrix of the case, this Court does not intend to keep the present Writ Petition pending by calling upon the reply of Respondents, particularly taking note of the fact that the Petitioner is a person who already stands retired five years back and therefore ends of justice would meet if the Respondents No. 2 & 3 are directed to ensure that the entire provident fund dues that are payable to the Petitioner are immediately processed and paid to the Petitioner within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order, failing which the amount shall carry interest from the date of actual payment is made to the Petitioner.
