The prayer made by the petitioners in the present writ petition is to consider the case of the petitioners for regularization in services in terms of the circular of the State Government, dated 5.3.2008.

According to the petitioners, they were engaged on 17.9.1998 and were discharging their duties as Salesman-cum-Chowkidar under respondents no. 2 & 3 and they are discharging the duties uninterruptedly since September, 1998 onwards. As per the petitioners, they have put in about 21 years of services and therefore they are entitled for the benefit of regularization in terms of the circular dated 5.3.2008 passed by the State Government in respect of regularization.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, taking note of the period of service rendered by the petitioners, this Court is of the opinion that ends of justice would meet if respondents no. 1 & 2 are directed to take appropriate decision in respect of the petitioners so far as their claim for regularization is concerned, keeping in view the circular of the State Government, dated 5.3.2008.

Let appropriate decision be taken by the respondents within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.
