1. The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is to the inaction on the part of the respondents in not taking a decision on the claim for compassionate appointment.

2. According to the petitioner, his father was working under the respondent Education Department as a Head Master at the Government Primary School, who died in harness on 03.06.2020. The petitioner immediately thereafter has moved an application for compassionate appointment on 15.07.2021. However, till date no decision has been taken.

3. Given the fact that petitioner himself has filed an application only on 15.07.2021 and it is just around three months time the application is pending consideration before the Authorities. The writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of directing the respondent no.1, 3 & 4 to take an appropriate decision on the application of the petitioner, if at all if

-2necessary approval is required at the State level on the claim of the petitioner for compassionate appointment at the earliest preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
