PUD has been received from the court of Additional Sessions Judge, Fast Track Special Court (POCSO Act), Bemetara (C.G.) with a request for extension of time to dispose of Special Session Trial No. 16/2019 pending before that court.

This Court, while disposing of MCRC No. 7636 of 2019 on 21.01.2020, directed the trial court to conclude the trial within a period of six months.

As request by the Presiding Officer of the court and on the basis of the submissions made in the PUD, I feel inclined to allow the prayer made in the PUD.

Prayer is allowed and extension of time is granted. Further three months time is granted for conclusion of the case mentioned hereinabove. The time given shall start from the date this order is communicated to the court concerned.
