Learned counsel for petitioner, before entering into the merits of the case, submitted that identical writ petition i.e. WPS No.2971 of 2016 was disposed of by this Court vide order dated 18-07-2016 with a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner and therefore, prayed that this petition may be disposed of on similar lines.

Learned State counsel does not oppose the prayer.

In view of above, this petition is finally disposed of in similar terms as has been passed by this Court in WPS No.2971/2016. Accordingly, the respondents are directed to consider and decide the representation dated 14-09-2016 of the petitioner, on its own merits, in accordance with rules governing the field, within a period of 6 months from today.
