The limited prayer that the petitioner has made in the present writ petition is for appropriate direction to the respondent No.1 to take a decision on the second departmental appeal that petitioner has preferred against the order of punishment imposed on 15.11.2014 which has been affirmed by the

respondent No.2 which is pending and which was filed as early as on 18.08.2020.

2. The limited prayer sought for is not opposed by the State counsel

3. Accordingly respondent No.1 is directed to ensure that Second Appeal that has been preferred by the petitioner be decided at the earliest preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
