1. This is first bail application filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking grant of regular bail to the applicant in connection with Crime No. 627 of 2021 registered at Police Station Kotwali, Out Post Chikhali, Rajnandgaon (C.G) for the offence 20(B) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

2. As per the prosecution case, on a raid being conducted on 28.9.2021, from the possession of the applicant 1 Kg., and 700 grams of Ganja was recovered.

3. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the alleged seizure has already been effected, no further investigation is necessary and applicant is in jail since 29.09.2021, therefore, she may be enlarged on bail.

4. Per contra, learned State Counsel opposes the bail application.

5. Considering the fact that the seizure has already been made

and no further investigation is necessary in this case and further looking to the quantity of Ganja allegedly recovered from the applicant and the applicant is a lady who is stated to be in jail since 29.09.2021, I am inclined to allow this bail application.

6. Accordingly, the bail application is allowed and the applicant is directed to be released on bail on her executing a personal bond in sum of Rs.25,000/- with one surety in the like sum to the satisfaction of the concerned trial Court for her appearance before the said Court as and when directed.
