Challenge to the order by which the petitioner has been posted upon revocation of suspension rests on the ground that after revocation of suspension, the petitioner was required to be posted at the place where he was posted at the time of suspension.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the issue raised in this petition is no longer res integra and has been settled in plethora of decisions, one of such decision is of Khadanand Patanwar v. State of Chhattisgarh and ors. passed in WPS No.3146/2015 on 08/09/2016. 4.

Learned State counsel submits that the Collector shall consider the matter of petitioner's posting in accordance with the decisions of this Court.

In view of above, this petition is finally disposed off with a direction to suitably modify the impugned order in the light of order dated 08/09/2015 passed by this Court in WPS No.3146/2015 within a period of three weeks from today.
