1. The grievance of the petitioner is that the husband of the petitioner was working as a Patwari at Pithoura, District Mahasamund. The husband of the petitioner retired from service on 31.07.2012. The said employee later on died on 22.01.2018.

2. According to the petitioner, the husband the petitioner has not been paid the provident fund amount payable to her husband on his retirement.

3. The counsel for the parties submits that the said provident fund account is not maintained in the office of the Accountant General.

4. Given the facts, let the respondents No.2 & 4 scrutinize the case of the deceased employee namely Rounkul Hak Usmani, so far as release of provident fund amount is concerned. If the said amount

has not been released, let the said amount be released with interest @ 10% per annum, from the date, it was actually to be paid to the deceased employee, within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. If the petitioner is not entitled for any Provident Fund then let intimation in this regard be given to the petitioner giving reasons why he is not entitled for the same.

5. It shall be the duty of the petitioner to appraise the respondent No.2, so far as the order passed by this Court is concerned.
