2. The applicant has preferred this application for grant of bail as he is arrested on 12-2-2017 in connection with Crime No. 52/2017 registered in PS City Kotwali, Distt. Bilaspur (CG) for offence punishable under Section 327, 294, 506, IPC.

3. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that after investigation charge sheet has been filed and the same is pending before the JMFC, Bilaspur as Criminal Case No. 637/2017. This is his first bail application before this Court. He is first offender. He will not commit any offence in future if granted bail. He may be granted bail as the trial may take time.

4. Per contra, learned State counsel opposes the bail application and submits that earlier 42 matters have been registered against the applicant which shows criminal history of the applicant. Therefore, his bail applicant may be rejected.

5. Perused the matter.

6. On consideration of the material collected by the prosecution in the present matter and also that the applicant has huge criminal past, I am not inclined to grant bail to the applicant. Prayer for bail is rejected.

7. However, the court below is directed to dispose of the matter as expeditiously as possible as the applicant is in jail since 12-2-2017. Parties shall cooperate.

8. Instant MCRC is accordingly disposed of.
