1. Grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner has paid the advance tax for certain vehicle under the Motor Vehicles Act for inter-region permit; however, they were not countersigned by the concerned Regional Transport Authority. The taxes were deposited from October, 2019 to January 2020 and the amount of Rs.81,120/- was deposited in excess, which required to be returned; therefore, the petitioner has made an application to the Taxation Officer of the Regional Transport Authority, Raipur and prayer is made that the said application/representation though having been repeatedly made, the same has not been decided and the last application which was made on 08.10.2020 (Annexure P-1) may be considered.

2. Without entering into the merit of the case, considering the limited prayer made by the petitioner, it is directed that the respondent No.2/ Regional

-2Transport Authority shall decide the representation of the petitioner within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
