The applicants have preferred this application filed under Section 439 of the Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail as they are arrested in connection with crime No.58/2017 registered in Police Station Saraswati Nagar, Raipur (CG) for the offence punishable under Section 147, 451, 427, 294, 323, 506, 186, 353 & 332 of the IPC and

Sections 3 & 5 of the Prevention of Damage of Public Property Act, 1984.

The applicants and other co-accused persons allegedly entered into the Chamber of the Vice Chancellor of Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur, and created ruckus and in the siad process they damaged the public property for which the First Information Report (FIR) has been lodged by Ms. Bajpai, the Dean, Student Welfare of the University.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case; further considering the fact that the co-accused namely Ramashanker Sahu @ Shanker, who is facing similar allegations, has already been released on bail by this Court in M.Cr.C.No.3523 of 2017 and also considering the fact that the applicants are in jail since 1-5-2017, this Court is inclined to release them on bail. Accordingly, the application is allowed and the applicants are directed to be released on bail on their executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- each with one surety for the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial Court. They are directed to appear before the trial Court on each and every date given by the said Court.
