1. This is a second bail application filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of regular bail to the applicant who has been arrested in connection with Crime No. 393/2017, registered at Police Station Sirgitti, District Bilaspur (C.G.) for the offence punishable under Section 20(b)(ii)(C) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act, 1985. The earlier bail application having being rejected by this Court on 04.07.2018 in MCRC No. 3427/2018.

2. Taking into consideration the fact that total quantity of contraband seized from the possession of the applicant was 128 kgs, this Court does not find any strong case for grant of bail to the applicant. However considering the fact that the applicant is in custody since 10.12.2017 and three witnesses have already been examined, the trial Court is directed to ensure that the trial is concluded at the earliest and all necessary witnesses are examined without granting unnecessary adjournments.
