1. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner on promotion from the Principal, Graduate College to the Principal Post Graduate College vide order dated 05.06.2018 was initially transferred from the P.G. College Surajpur to the office of the Deputy Director, Regional Office, Durg.
2. The said order was subsequently modified on 08.06.2018 and the place of posting of the petitioner stood amended from the P.G. College Surajpur to Govt. Revti Raman Mishra P.G. College Surajpur. The petitioner promptly complied with the said order and has also given his joining. Subsequently on the same date, another order has been passed, whereby place of posting has been further
amended and the petitioner has been ordered to be posted from Surajpur to the Govt. P.G. College, Mungeli.
3. Counsel for the petitioner submits that he has already made repeated representations for reconsidering the place of posting of the petitioner vide representations (Annexure P/4 & P/5). No decision on the said representations has till date been passed.
4. The State counsel however opposing the petition submits that the order is only an amendment of the place of posting and all these orders seems to have been passed on same date and that the petitioner gave his joining also in the same city and as such the petitioner would not have been subjected to too any inconvenience.
5. Be that as it may, since the order dated 05.06.2018 and the subsequent order dated 08.06.2018 transferring the petitioner to Govt. Revti Raman Mishra P.G. College Surajpur has been acted upon, the issue is whether the respondents could have further amended the place of posting.
6. Let the respondents take a decision on the representations filed by the petitioner at the earliest within a period of 4 weeks from today and till the representation is decided, they shall not give effect to the impugned order (Annexure P/1) dated 08.06.2018.
7. Needless to mention that the petitioner would also be entitled for fresh representation, if any.
