1. The challenge in this petition is to the order dated 23.08.2018 (Annexure P/1) whereby the petitioner has been placed under suspension by the Collector, Balod, and the services of the petitioner has been attached at Tehsil office Dondi which is quite far from the place where the petitioner was working.

2. This court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition on the ground of there being an alternative statutory remedy of filing of appeal to the petitioner under Rule 23 of the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1966.

3. Accordingly, reserving the right of the petitioner to challenge the impugned order by way of an appeal to the appellate authority, the present petition in its present form stands rejected. Sd/- (P. Sam Koshy Judge inder
