1. The present contempt petition has been filed alleging the non-compliance of the order dated 31.08.2018 passed by this Court in WPS No. 5698/2018.

2. At the outset, this Court is of the opinion that the contempt petition would not be sustainable for the reason that the petitioner herein was not a petitioner in the said writ petition. The second reason why this Court finds it difficult to entertain the contempt petition is the fact that the contempt petition has now been filed beyond the prescribed limitation under the Contempt of Courts Act.

3. For both the reasons, the present contempt petition stands rejected reserving the right of petitioner to avail other appropriate remedies available to him.
