Hon'ble Shri Justice Prashant Kumar Mishra Order On Board 24/10/2018 :

1. The petitioner is seeking revaluation of her answer sheet for the Mathematics subject for the B.Sc. First year examination conducted by the Bilaspur University.

2. Admittedly, regulations/instructions pertaining to subject examination do not provide for revaluation of the answer sheets. Therefore, in view

of the law laid down by the Supreme Court in the matters of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education and Another Vs. Paritosh Bhupeshkumar Sheth and others {(1984) 4 SCC 27} and H.P. Public Service Commission Vs. Mukesh Thakur {(2010) 6 SCC 759}, this Court is not entitled to direct the respondents to re-value answer sheets, as no such right to claim revaluation exists in petitioner's favour.

3. For the foregoing, the Writ Petition deserves to be and is hereby dismissed.
