1. With the consent of the parties the matter is heard finally and disposed of at the motion stage itself.
2. The limited prayer that the Counsel for the petitioners has made in this present Writ petition is for an appropriate direction to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioners for grant of third time pay scale as per the circular dated 08.08.2018 (Annexure P-2).
3. The contention of the petitioners is that all the petitioners herein have completed more than 30 years of service and all the petitioners have also got first and second time pay-scale and thereby they have become eligible for grant of third time pay-scale as per (Annexure P2) dated 08.08.2018.
4. Given the aforesaid factual matrix of the case as narrated by the petitioners, this Court is of the opinion that the Present writ petition itself can be disposed of with a direction to the respondents No. 3 to 6 to take a prompt decision on the claim of the petitioners so far as the grant of third time pay-scale is concerned. Let appropriate
decision be taken at the earliest preferably within a period of 4 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
