The grievance of the Petitioner is to the inaction on the part of the Respondent authorities in not taking a decision on her application/ representations made on 15.7.2021 and 22.7.2021. 3.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that her father namelylate Gendram Patel was posted as Head Constable in Police Station,

Gobra Nawapara, District Raipur (CG), but he succumbed to corona virus on 24.2.2021 during his treatment in Shree Narayana Hospital Devendra Nagar, Raipur. It is contended that mother of the Petitioner, who was suffering from the said disease was also died, a month prior to her father i.e. on 11.1.2021. Further contention of the Petitioner is that the two elder brothers of the Petitioner are married and employed, but they are living separately from father late Gendram Patel and, the Petitioner being unmarried daughter was living with her parents and was completely dependent upon her father as she has no source of income. It is contended further that on account of the sad demise of her father, the Petitioner applied for her appointment on compassionate ground on 15.7.

2021 (Annexure P/3) along with all relevant testimonials affidavit of her brothers, who have consented for her appointment as such. Further contention is that when her said representation was not decided, she was compelled to file another one on 22.7.2021 (Annexure P/4). Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that since the said representations have not been decided, therefore, the concerned Respondent authorities be directed to consider the same.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this Court feels that no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the petition pending as it can be disposed of at this stage itself. 5.

Accordingly, this petition is disposed of by directing Respondent No.2- Director General of Police to take an appropriate decision on the

said representations(Annexure P/3 and Annexure P/4) made on 15.7.2021 and 22.7.2021, respectively within a period of two months from the date of communication/receipt of the certified copy of this order. 6.

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion while disposing of this petition and the concerned authority shall decide the said representations in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of at the admission stage itself.
